The scope of services offered by the Company for preparation of feasibility studies for various types of projects includes detailed analyses to establish technically sound project designs and their economic and financial viability. Economic perspective and the project objectives are defined and technical studies like initial site inspection; field exploration of the project area including geological and hydrological surveys; traffic assessment surveys and related data analysis; soils, foundations and construction materials investigations and testing; preliminary design; comparison of alternatives; determination of comparative costs are carried out. For selected project designs, the economic and financial costs are compiled and compared with expected economic benefits. By considering economic benefits and economic costs, the economic viability is appraised. All these technical and economic studies are described in the project feasibility reports, submitted to the clients as the basic material for use by them to obtain project approval of the financing agencies concerned.
